Rogerian Therapy for Depression Rogerian Therapy for Depression
Code:rogerians03.doc
Price: $99.50
Quantity in Basket:  none
This 10 page paper written in APA format conducts a hypothetical case study of a severely depressed client (Client X) using Rogerian Therapy, otherwise known as Client-Centered or Non-Directive Therapy. The paper presents a detailed description of the client’s diagnosis, assessment, reasons for choosing the treatment, treatment outcome, strengths and limitations, and recommendations. It also presents an analysis of Rogerian Therapy and how it fits into the psychotherapy regime, the types of clients where outcomes could be most positive, and the areas where its efficacy has not yet been determined or has been shown to be limited (schizophrenia, for example, or prolonged clinical depression). The paper makes recommendations as for the use of Rogerian Therapy under these circumstances as a type of “pre-therapy” to prepare a client for further treatment. The results of the hypothetical case study indicate a successful conclusion to Client X’s problems. However, it also shows that the methods used in Rogerian Therapy are highly individual and perhaps not repeatable within quantitative scientific parameters.
